Witnessing rhizomes

Invisible to my eye the lord’s great mystery is at work. Roots and rhizomes seek sustenance gathering what they need stretching and swelling building a network that feeds and strengthens not only themselves but the living soil they are rooted in. My heart is reminded of the nurturing relationship gifted to us. Like bamboo, I seek for the relationship that allows me to grow and be fruitful.
