FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE A new and exciting business has recently emerged in California and is already creating a whirlwind of interest that extends to the far corners of the globe. Earth Architecture has opened its doors and is now offering sustainable design, construction and educational services to California patrons but this business is about something much bigger than just building houses… its about intelligent design solutions and our need to create beautiful, efficient housing.

As part of an ongoing effort to better serve our customers, Earth Architecture has teamed up with Bamboo Ballyhoo of Paso Robles. One of the first things people notice about our showcase site here in Los Osos is that we have a rather large bamboo stand in the corner of our lot. In fact, the first thing that Isaac did after purchasing the property was to plant the bamboo. We get a lot of questions about the bamboo and this year has brought some exciting developments with new shoots sprouting up in surprising places which is exactly what we were hoping for!

We just put together this awesome plan for anyone interested in making their own earthcrete pavers. We thought it would be a fun way to help teach people about how to mix stabilized earth and use it for a functional purpose. There is even a simple formula that anyone can use to make structural earth designs from material freely available in your backyard!

This is our new ad we put in the local newspaper, Telegram Tribune. I thought it would be a fun way to advertise as temple builders and it’s wholly accurate because, from my perspective, each new project is important enough to be a temple, at least to the person who desires it, and there is nothing I’d rather be building than a temple!

Hey all! It’s funny for me to think about how much has been accomplished in the past 6 months. It’s hard for me to really comprehend. Just last year, we picked up this little house in Los Osos and I had begun the process to transform the dreary and limited space into a japanese style zen garden. Now, I’m getting close to filling this rather large 6,000 gallon koi pond with water and we’re launching this new website, so I’m pretty excited, and all in all, this is a big week for Earth Architecture!
